My name is Christal Firmacion, and I am currently a nursing student at Old Dominion University. Upon graduation from nursing school, I will be joining the Navy as a Nurse Corps Officer.

Student Nurses Association (2019) -- Admitted Students Day
Shot @ Life (2020) -- Received training to become Shot @ Life Champion and advocated toward immunizations to local congressmen through social media, petitions, and e-mail
Created health policy brief to recommend the passage of VA HB 66 which sets a $50 cap on monthly insulin prescriptions. Health policy brief was sent to Governor Ralph Northam, who then passed the bill in mid-April of 2020.
